St. Louis Startup Week is just around the corner. If you are looking to participate beyond being in the audience, there are three opportunities; first, you can signup to Volunteer; second, you can host your community event and be added to the Startup Week schedule; and third, you can signup to have a table at the Startup Showcase.

Due October 8 – SLUStartup I-Corps
This program is from the Research Innovation Group in Saint Louis University’s Office of the Vice President for Research. It is designed to help researchers, inventors, and innovators in the St. Louis region extend their focus beyond academia and the lab to create successful products and services that deliver real value through entrepreneurship. (Incubator)

Due October 23 – Food Foundry Accelerator
The Food Foundry is a Chicago-based growth accelerator program that supports, connects, and propels innovative startups reimagining the food industry. If selected, you will get access to their resources, community, and $75k of venture capital funding. (Accelerator)

Due October 25 – OPO Startups Demo Day
This a competitive, live pitch competition for entrepreneurs in the tech industry. 4 finalists will pitch live on November 15th, 2022, in a “Shark Tank Style” format to judges and a live audience. More than $5000 in prizes will be awarded! (Pitch Competition)

Due October 29 – UMSL Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Accelerator
You can apply to become a DEI3 Founder and receive: 8-weeks of Business Development, Mentorship, Access to University Resources, Industry Insights and Advice, and a $50,000 grant! (Accelerator)

Starting on the 8th and going throw the 15th, it’s a whole week of programming; here are a few highlights:

AgTech NEXT 2022 – Danforth Center
Starting on October 11th through the 13th, this is a gathering of players shaping food’s future. The theme for this event is Reinventing a Food System in Crisis.
